Abay Bank has fulfilled all the necessary requirements of the National Bank of Ethiopia to set up a bank, and officially established on July 14th 2010 and started full-fledged banking operations on November 3, 2010.
Currently, paid up-capital of the bank is Birr 4.733 Billion/ Four Billion Seven Hundred Thirty three Million Birr as of June 30, 2023, and the number of share holders reached 4,437/ Four Thousand Four Hundred Thirty Seven.

Position 1: Driver I
Educational Level and work Experience: 12th /10th grade complete and 3rd grade driving license with a minimum of 2 years related work experience.
Duty Station: Dire Dawa District
Position 2: Branch Manager Grade I
Educational Level and work Experience: Minimum B.A. Degree in Management/ Accounting/ Economics/ Business management/ Banking and Finance with A minimum of 6 years work experience in banking of which 2 years in Banking Business or operation supervisory position
The Branch Manager Plan, coach and coordinate the activities of the branch motivates and coaches the customer service officers responsible for the delivery of high quality service, Participate in development, expansion and management of customer and business relationships within the branch, concentrating efforts in meeting customer needs Identify and recruit potential customers, and provide professional advise
