JOB SUMMERY
The Commercial and tender officer must have great enthusiasm for tender and market knowledge of relevant techniques, and principles and
required to have a proven track record in the execution and monitoring of tender and commercial activities, and also be an excellent
communicator and experienced in managing tender and marketing ventures.
Roles and Responsibilities:-
Developing and implementing tender and marketing strategies
Negotiating agreements
Commercial officers may negotiate and finalize contracts with clients and vendors, or review and negotiate contract variations to protect
the business’s interests.
Monitoring market trends
They may conduct market research and analysis to identify business opportunities. Ensure sustainability, profitability and develop
market plans, Analyze the results of the market strategy and report results to appropriate parties.
Identify opportunities: Find opportunities for tender proposals
Prepare proposals: Brainstorm key points, write and edit proposals, and address concerns from clients and staff
Manage the tender process: Coordinate tasks, manage budgets, and monitor bid management
Evaluate proposals: Compare prices, construction time, and materials from contractors
Negotiate: Clarify bid conditions and contact contractors for final quotes
Meet deadlines: Ensure all deadlines are met and proposals are submitted on time
JOB REQUIREMENT
Educational Qualification: BA/MS in Marketing Management, Business Administration, Economics, or in the relative fields.
Experience: 5 years or 3 years above respectively, direct work experiences in the relevant sector/field.
