Internship Summary
CRS Ethiopia offers Internship possibilities to a limited number of female recent graduates (fresh graduates) consistent with CRS mission and Guiding Principles. The program will be offered based on justifiable organizational needs, merit and the applicant meeting the selection criteria. The main aim of the Internship Program is to give female graduates a framework to enhance their educational experience through practical work assignments, thereby developing skills which will be useful for their career and future employment. The Program shall consider applicants from local universities who are currently studying towards a professional qualification or who have just acquired one and willing to have a practical experience.
Since the primary training method is experiential (i.e. service delivery in direct contact with service recipients), the CRS Intern service delivery tasks and duties are twofold: oriented towards learning and adding value through a tangible contribution to CRS programs and operations. Experiential training focuses on training for a practical workplace. The proposed training philosophy requires that in the process of learning new skills, the Intern also be required to demonstrate that they are capable of applying what they learn in a tangible “value-added” way.
Primary Responsibilities
Under the supervision of an experienced staff member and in collaboration with CRS partners, the intern will support assigned department with different tasks to help tailor their practical learning process. The tasks/assignments would be different depending on the department the intern is assigned, and specific scope of work would be provided during assignment.

Continued practical learning through application of the acquired education.
Key Working Relationships
Internal: Department managers, supervisors, CRS Addis and regional staff,
External: CRS partner organizations, vendors, consultants and suppliers as required.
Skill and educational background
Bachelor’s degree in any field of education (social or natural).
Graduated within 24 months of program start date (degree conferred between Oct 2022 – Oct 2024)
No prior experience required
Excellent speaking and writing skills in English.
Citizen of Ethiopia.
Willingness to travel (up to 25% of the time)
Excels in collaborative, multicultural environments.
