East Africa Bottling Share Company Ethiopia would like to invite qualified and competent applicants to apply for the following vacant post.

East Africa Bottling Share Company (EABSC), a subsidiary of CCBA, is the largest bottler of Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia, having served the country for more than 60 years.

We are the eighth largest Coca-Cola bottling partner worldwide by revenue and the biggest on the continent, accounting for about 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes sold in Africa. We employ more than 18,000 people and our 40 bottling plants service over 720,000 customer outlets.

The first Coke was served in Africa in 1928 and currently CCBA accounts for about 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes sold in Africa serving over 720,000 outlets.

1: Tax Accountant

Location: Addis Ababa

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Review Management Reconciliation File.
Prepare and post journals for finance function.
Draft Policies and Procedures.
Monitor SAP Compliance.
Monitor Internal Audit Findings close outs.
Manage Balance Sheet Accounts.
Effect the monthly FI close procedures which initiate the close of the accounting ledger for the period in question.
Daily cash flow planning.(preparation of all internal and external financial reports related to treasury, cash management).
Provides advice to the Manager on all areas of cash management and investments.
Reviews the Cash Flow requirements report to ensure funds availability to meet operational requirements.
Prepare forecasts to project company cash positions in the short run and the near future
Re-values FX denominated balance sheet accounts as required for the preparation of financial statements
Reconciliations / information reported to the receiver is 100% accurate and compliant with CCBA and Statutory regulations.
Payment is made to the Receiver of Revenue by the last day of every month
Journals are completed with 100% accuracy

Reconciliation deviations are identified, reported and solved within one month of deviations being identified
Reconciliations are completed monthly and submitted timeously to Manager for review.
Reconciliations for balance sheet accounts are conducted as per finance policies and procedures.
Critical outstanding items on monthly balance sheet reconciliations are resolved.
Annual tax returns are filed timeously.

Skill and educational background

First Degree in Accounting/Accounting and finance with a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.

General: Applicants must be Ethiopian Nationals.
