OK Bottling and Beverage S.C. is involved in the production of Bottled Natural Spring Water that highly satisfies its customers as well as end users in supplying clean spring water and in discharging its social responsibility to society. The Company currently is looking to hire dynamic, energetic & hardworking potential employees in the following positions as per specified job requirements.

Position: Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Assist the Finance Department Manager & Accounts Division Head with the financial recording and reporting processes, including transaction posting, and financial report creation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Certify that valid invoices & full supporting documents are obtained for every payments
  • Check the arithmetic accuracy of figures and validity for all payments, & receipts
  • Prepare cash payments, bank payments, journal vouchers, and cash receipts on a timely basis
  • Manage cash transfer letters to the authorized person or company properly
  • Prepare the daily cash balance & report to his immediate supervisor
  • Maintain register book for cash Receipts, Payment Vouchers, Withholding tax Receipts, and other related documents
  • Proper custody of signed cheques, withholding tax receipts, Cash receipt vouchers bank & Cash Payment Vouchers
  • Preparation of daily payment register for all payments
  • Timely collection of bank debit and credit advice
  • Execute timely processing, posting, and reporting of financial transactions (including those related to payroll, taxes, and fixed assets)
  • Ensure proper filing, storage & safeguarding of all financial and accounting documents related to transactions, including financial reports, forms & related supporting documents, and make them ready for audit purposes.
  • Prepare timely tax reporting & payment of (VAT, withholding, employment tax, and pension contributions) on a timely basis
  • Make sure the timely settlement of all advances and liabilities of the staff advances
  • Maintain Fixed Assets Register
  • Enhance technical knowledge by staying up-to-date with financial regulations and accepted practices, participating in various developmental opportunities;
  • Work on other assignments and special projects as assigned by the immediate supervisor
  • Make ready and prepare salary payment information having input from HR, calculate overtime payment, and other authorized & legal payments. Avail pay slips for employees & explain details of payments whenever requested by workers.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance especially in manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of Peachtree Accounting software is mandatory
  • Very strong numerical and accounting skills
  • Team player
  • Independent work initiative and flexibility
