ROLE PURPOSE:

The purpose of this role is to provide essential support to Save the Children’s emergency programs in Afar, focusing on promoting accountability to beneficiaries with the objective of empowering communities and obtaining feedback on SC UK projects leading to improved quality and impact. The incumbent will work very closely with the MEAL Coordinator as well as all concerned project staff and project beneficiaries in establishing accountability mechanisms

Skill and educational background

A minimum of diploma in related social fields, health, and other development studies.
A minimum of two years’ experience in working at community-based similar projects preferably with non-governmental organizations
Knowledge of the language of the duty station
Commitment to Save the Children values.
Teams, in the event of emergencies Desirable
