VisionFund Micro Finance Institution (S.C) is an Institution established according to proclamation No. 40/96 to provide financial services to the productive poor in the rural and urban areas of Ethiopia. VisionFund is currently operating in four of the Regional States of the country.

VisionFund MFI is currently looking for candidates for the position of Receptionist. The successful candidates will have skills and experience that meet the following requirements:

1: Receptionist

EDUCATION/TRAINING

A minimum of Diploma in Secretarial Science & Office Management or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

3 years of relevant experience.

TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS:

· Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of integrity

· Able to well articulate/communicate.

· Able to keep confidential records

· Proficient in Micro Soft office applications

· Proficiency in written communication and report writing.

· Ability to work effectively with others at all levels.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Handle incoming & outgoing telephone calls.

· Welcoming Visitors & directing them to the correct staff/department.

· Receive incoming letters and distribute to concerned offices/staff § Manage emails coming through info@visionfundmfi.com (forwarding the emails to the concerned Departments).

Forward CVS and applications coming in Hard Copies/via email to Human Capital Department.

Facilitate receiving and delivery of postage/parcels.

· Prepare monthly expenses summary and submit to Finance for payment.

· Receive and send FAX messages.

· Prepare monthly attendance sheet and attendance summary for General Service staff (better to make use of the system and the role of the receptionist should be to encode absentees and late comers into the system at the end of the day). Summary of the results should be communicated to the concerned staffs by the respective HR Department.

· Support and provide secretarial work for General Service unit.

· Keeping records (copy of DHL monthly reports, Attendance summary and Fax queries).

· Handle safely and properly all properties under custody.

· Collect purchase requests and forward it to Logistics Department.

Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
