Do you have relevant work experience of 3-5 in Supply and Logistics Management, preferably in an international NGO like Oxfam? Out of which at least 3 years should be stock and asset management experience.
The Role:
This role involves managing all responsibilities related to supply, warehouses, and fleet, as well as dispatching goods. The Logistics Assistant is responsible for ensuring quality in supply chain management support across seven operation areas in the Gambella-Ethiopia program
What we are looking for:
- An accountable for ensuring that all operation procedures of Administration and Logistics are adhered to and implemented in a manner that is compliant with Oxfam policies, standards, and procedures.
An ideal candidate for the role will also be/have:
- Demonstrable knowledge of logistics, gender, wash, and protection approaches in emergency and recovery and the integration of these throughout the life of the project
- Excellent communicator with strong written, verbal, and reporting skills, and diplomacy with any logistics report data management.
- Adaptable in approach to work with a willingness to work under pressure in a demanding environment
- Initiative and motivation to work independently and develop solutions to Highly flexible in style with the ability to produce creative and pragmatic solutions to complex problems
