- Develops and implements marketing strategy for new and existing products to increase market share, sales volume, and profit of the Company.
- Oversees the development and implementation of the Brand strategy to create and promote a strong brand of EAI products that increase profitability and customer loyalty.
- Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
- In consultation with the Commercial Director, develops and implements effective and successful annual marketing plans including advertising, sales promotion, public relations, product development, pricing & distribution.
- Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
- Researches, analyzes, and evaluates the competitive market environment.
- Identifies, and diagnoses brand-level performance issues.
- Ensures all brand communication is in line with the agreed brand framework.
- Monitors threats and opportunities and amends actions where necessary, to ensure brand development
- Undertakes continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends to be able to take proactive measures in terms of responding to market demands.
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness and relevance of promotional campaign.
- Keeps overall marketing expenditures within or below the allocated budget.
- Designs, implements, and measures the success of communications and public relations programs that will enhance the EAI image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications.
- Ensures articulation of EAI’s desired image, position, and brand to all constituencies, both internal and external.
- Responsible for editorial direction, design, production, and distribution of all EAI’s publications.
- Coordinates media interest in the Organization and ensures regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.
- Liaises and networks with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers, and partner organizations.
- Communicates with target audiences and manages customer relationships.
- Organizes and attends events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions.
- In cooperation with HRD recruit and select marketing staff.
- Periodically conducts performance appraisals of subordinates and staff to identify performance gaps or outstanding performance and take appropriate action.
- In cooperation with HRD develops and designs appropriate training program to enhance marketing team members’ skills in performing their duties.
- Provides direction and resources, removing barriers and helping develop people’s skills; articulating expectations and clarifying roles and relationships.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
About You
- BA or MBA in Sales & Marketing, Business Management, or Economics.
- 6 years for MA and 8 years for BA. Sales and marketing experience in FMCG industry and experience with distributor practices. 3-5 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in soap industry
