1. Accountant

Job Summary:
The Accountant (ACCT) is mainly responsible for all payment processing, voucher preparation and maintaining proper accounting files & records. S/he prepares check or wire transfer for all approved vouchers. Make field cash disbursement during workshop and trainings. Furthermore, s/he will be responsible for managing Sub awardees monthly financial report and cash request reviews, review of cost share reports on quarterly basis and periodic financial monitoring to Sub awardees.

The Accountant works under direct supervision of Finance Office (FO). S/he will closely work with Finance, HR, Logistics, and Operation team of Project HOPE Ethiopia. S/he will have a functional relationship with the Capacity Development and Operations Directors for the Grants management.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance related fields from recognized University
A minimum of 5 years of related practical experience in the area of Accounting & Finance.
Experience of community engagement and mentorship and health facility support
NGO and humanitarian experience is an advantage.
Technical Skills:

2+ years’ experience as disbursement accountant & strong knowledge of local tax rules
Experience in grants (subaward) management
Proven Experience of using Quicken/QuickBooks SW, Excel, data base, etc
Fluent in English and Affaan Oromo languages
Good personal organizational skills
Ability to work within a multicultural setting.
Willing to travel extensively within and outside the region

2. Finance and Admin Assistant

Job Summary:
The Finance and Admin Assistant is mainly responsible for providing keeping up to date accurate administrative and finance records and files in hard and electronic copies, maintaining up to date outstanding invoices files, and handle workshop payments. The Finance and Admin Assistant is also responsible for maintaining accurate & up-to-date Office Supplies Documents and Records. Handle timely Collection and Distribution of letters and Courier’s dispatches.

S/he /he assists in field level workshop activities by providing supplies, stationarities, and disbursing cash to workshop participants. Moreover, s/he will also engage in timely local procurement of supplies and services and processing of payments and appropriate handling of project supplies, equipment and assets.

Job Requirements:
College Diploma in Secretarial Science, Office Management, Accounting or related field.
TVET Level 4 and Above
4+ years’ experience as an office assistant or related field with INGOs
Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary.
Warm personality with strong communication skills.
Ability to work well with limited supervision.
Fluency in Speaking and Writing in English and Affan Oromo Languages
Computer skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel)

3. Social Mobilization Officer
Job Summary:

Social mobilization officer- is responsible for the planning and implementation of community and social mobilization strategies that support Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) activities of this integrated multi-sectoral response project targeting IDP returnees and communities. She/he will mainly be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of social mobilization and RCCE activities by MHNT, HCWs and various community volunteers. S/he will work with sector offices, local leaders and existing community structures to come up with a locally owned approach for RCCE. He will ensure the conduct of regular community outreaches for health, nutrition, and protection through volunteers and develops SBCC tools and low literacy job aids to do quality RCCE.

This position is working closely with medical teams in mobile clinics, supported HFs & community to improve the mental health wellbeing and psychosocial conditions of affected communities, supporting the mobile health team by providing guidance and capacity building for the implementation of qualitative psychosocial care and mental health activities and assisting the community volunteers in the identification of targeted communities in need of specific psychological counselling and ensuring individual or group support for identified beneficiaries.

Job Requirements:
BSc/BA in Communication, Social Work, Psychology, other Social or Humanitarian sciences.
Minimum of 3 years work experience working as social worker, mobilizer and/or a counsellor preferably with IDPs, returnees and conflict affected communities.
Skill in participatory design and implementation of RCCE/SBCC activities in health, nutrition and protection at grass root level
Experience of community engagement and mentorship and health facility support
Previous NGO and humanitarian experience are an advantage.
Experience working in humanitarian emergency settings is an asset
Competent in Windows, MS office programs, emails and relevant health database (HMIS, DHIS etc.).
Technical Skills:

Essential – Excellent knowledge of English and Affaan Oromo, both written and spoken
Experience on organizing and facilitating workshops and trainings.

4. Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Officer

Job Summary:
The Mental Health and Psychosocial Support officer- MHNT is responsible for and delivery of specialized services that support the mental health and psychosocial wellbeing of IDP returnees and other communities in the assigned Woreda that meet the expected technical standards. She/he will mainly be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of clinical, community and social services responding to the needs of mental health and PSS services to vulnerable community members through conduct of community outreaches, screening and diagnostic services and treatment and follow up of cases as necessary.

Job Requirements:
BSc/BA in psychiatric nursing or clinical psychology
Minimum of 3 years work experience working as a psychiatric/mental health clinical professional managing Mental health disorder, as a therapist and/or a counsellor preferably with IDPs and conflict affected communities.
Experience of community engagement and mentorship and health facility support
NGO and humanitarian experience is an advantage.
Available within short period of time
Technical Skills:

5. Team Leader- Mobile Health and Nutrition Team

Job Summary:
MHN Team leader is responsible to coordinate all Health and nutrition activities of the humanitarian Integrated multi sectoral response project including clinical services delivery, supervision and technical support of MHN team members, MHNT related resources and logistics management, reporting and for cordial and constructive coordination with the other actors in the sector, especially with health facility staffs, and other partners in the implementation sites.

Job Requirements:
BSc in public health/ Health Officer or BSc in Nursing or MD. MPH is desirable.
​Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience for BSc holders and 3 years for MD, of which at least one year is in a supervisory position managing diverse professionals.
Clinical and community-based service delivery experience in a primary health care setting desirable. Have an experience of community engagement activities.
Experience in humanitarian response preferably, as team leader.
NGO experience and experience in the locality is an advantage.
Technical Skills:

6. Midwife – Mobile Health and Nutrition Team, Oromia Humanitarian

Job Summary:
The Midwife- MHNT is responsible for and delivery of specialized midwifery and Maternal and Neonatal health and Nutrition services to IDPs returnees and host communities in the assigned Woreda ensuring technical quality. She/he will mainly be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of clinical emergency health services delivery to pregnant women, girls, mothers and newborns, including ANC, delivery, PNC, FP and GBV related screening and treatment services, conduct of outreach EPI, health education and Maternal and neonatal surveillance activities as per the guideline of national and RHB mobile health and Nutrition teams. The position holder is also expected to provide supervision, technical assistance and capacity building on RMNH to health extension workers and Health workers in health facilities.

Job Requirements:
BSc in Midwifery nursing
​Minimum of 5 years work experience in health programs both at clinical and community-based programs, working in lifesaving primary health care services
BEmONC and CAC training preferred.
Experience of community engagement and mentorship and health facility support
NGO and humanitarian experience is an advantage.

7. Emergency Health Officer

Job Summary:
The Emergency Health Officer as a member of MHNT will be responsible for the delivery of the mobile health and Nutrition services to IDP returnees and conflict affected communities in the assigned Woreda ensuring technical quality. She/he will mainly be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of clinical and emergency health and nutrition services to children, mothers and adults including screening and treatment services, conduct of outreach EPI, health education and disease surveillance activities as per the guideline of Oromia RHB and WHO mobile health and Nutrition teams. In addition, the position holder is expected to provide supervision, technical assistance and capacity building to health extension workers and Health workers in targeted health facilities and to community volunteers.

Job Requirements:
BSc in public health/ Health Officer, BSc in Nursing or MD degree. Additional post graduate level qualification is helpful.
Minimum of 5 years work experience for BSc holders and 1 years of experience for postgraduate in health programs both at clinical and community-based programs, working in lifesaving primary health care services. Have an experience of community engagement and health facility support activities.
Previous experience in MHNT is desirable.
Training on IMNCI, ICCM/CBNC, SAM and IMAI or other clinical and public health areas
PHEM and other disease surveillance related trainings
NGO and humanitarian experience is an advantage.

8. Monitoring and Evaluation Office

Job Summary:
The M&E officer will be responsible for providing M&E support to the response team, to set up health & nutrition data base ensuring accurate data collection, compilation, analysis, and reporting to the central PH office. S/he is supposed to maintain health service delivery data, records, registers and formats at the service delivery point. S/he will assist the Health, Nutrition, and protection project coordinator in establishing and strengthening a comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation system to measure project progress and impact and establish effective lesson learning and beneficiary accountability mechanisms in the project area. Moreover, He will coordinate the MEAL activities and coach and mentor MHNT on regular basis to quality data collection, analysis, and dissemination at all levels.

Job Requirements:
BSc or MSc Degree in Health Informatics, Monitoring & Evaluation, Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, Information Management or equivalent.
At least 3-year experience in managing health information systems support in a government or NGO environment.
Knowledge and experience in database design particularly using mobile applications for case management and data gathering (such as CommCare)
Knowledge of data processing and analysis using MS Excel and common statistical software (SPSS/STATA)

Ability to organize and plan information systems for emergency projects,

Experience in report writing including documentation of success stories

9. Project Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator will provide overall technical and supervisory leadership to all aspects of the Project at field level. This includes management of the health and nutrition teams, coordination and oversight to protection and health activities of the sub-awardee (FIDO), program monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. S/he will ensure that the health and nutrition program is technically managed and functioning properly, providing quality care to all beneficiaries, respecting protocols, and principles of good practice. She/he will support in the effective delivery of the health and nutrition program activities at site and community level. She/he will support the WrHO in the development and delivery of training packages and monitoring tools and in coordination with ZHD, RHB and stakeholders.

Project Coordinator is responsible to coordinate all Health and nutrition activities including MHNT activities, health systems support, health facility rehabilitation activities including development of BOQs and site level management of contractors. S/he will be in charge of the management of all project resources (HR, finance, logistics and field office), reporting and for cordial and constructive coordination with FIDO, other actors in the sector, especially with woreda health office, Oromia RHB, health facility staffs, and other partners in the implementation Woreda.

Job Requirements:
BSc in public health/ Health Officer, BSc nursing, or MD. MPH or other MA/MSc is desirable.
Minimum of 8 years work experience for BSc holders and 3 years of experience for postgraduate in health programs both at clinical and community-based programs, working in lifesaving primary health care services/ humanitarian context.
Experience on staff, budget, security and logistics management.
Experience on project management including health facility rehabilitation.
Willingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when faced with difficult working conditions.
Computer literate, skills on Microsoft word, excel and internet
Fluency in in written and spoken English and local languages
